We are pleased to recognize Melissa Branco as WestMar’s September 2026 Employee of the Month. Melissa has continued to demonstrate the organization, professionalism and positive attitude that make her such a valuable part of the WestMar Property Management team.

One of the things that stands out about Melissa is her ability to take on new responsibilities while continuing to give her existing clients the level of attention they expect. Recently, Melissa stepped into a new client relationship and did an excellent job getting up to speed, staying organized and managing the many moving pieces that come with taking on a new assignment. She handled the transition with a great attitude while continuing to meet the needs of the landlords and tenants she already works with.

Her organizational and time management skills are a big part of what make Melissa such a strong Property Manager. She knows how to prioritize, stay on top of details and keep things moving, even when there are a lot of demands competing for her attention. Those skills also make her a great resource for the people around her.

Melissa has also continued to invest time in helping coworkers develop their skills. She takes the time to train, answer questions and share what she has learned. That willingness to help others grow is an important part of what makes a strong team.

And while Melissa takes her work seriously, she also knows how to have a little fun.   While managing everything already on her very full plate, Melissa somehow found the time to make an amazing shield for our recent WestMar BBQ and “Nerf War” family social event.  It’s a small example of the Exuberant and engaging personality she brings to the office.  Melissa makes an effort to participate in company events and activities whenever she can. Her involvement shows that being part of the WestMar Team means more to her than simply getting the job done — she genuinely values the people she works with.
